IN conjunction with our monthly sale, we are pleased to host the Willow Creek 4-H District Market Lamb Show & Sale!

During this uncertain time in the world, the 4-H communities have faced many challenges in their 2019-2020 season. While there are many changes in the way these 4-H members will be presenting their livestock, the one thing that has not changed is the hard work that members have put into selecting, training their projects and the care and attention they have put into feeding them. We passionately believe that by choosing to purchase a 4-H lamb, you are investing in the youth of today and the community leaders of tomorrow!

Market Lamb Projects will be judged and sold at Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange on May 20, 2020 at Noon. In order to comply with physical distancing measures, members, leaders, and their families will not be in attendance. There will also be restrictions on the number of people who can be present during the auction. Please contact Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange directly for information on bidding. Buyers can also contact clubs for assistance with purchasing lambs.

Want to support 4-H and don’t have room in your freezer? You can purchase a lamb and rather than receive the meat you would receive a cheque back for current market value. This is referred to as ‘railing’ the animal and the process would be facilitated by S.A.L.E. The current market price will be announced on sale day. CONSIGNORS INCLUDE:

We are expecting a great run of feeder lambs, slaughter lambs, cull ewes and rams, and all classes of goats!

We ask that consignors please prebook to allow for staff planning, pen space management and to notify buyers of consigned livestock.

We offer multi day receiving in Fort Macleod prior to the sale, with clean feed & water pens available! This ensures your sheep & goats stay in great shape and look their best going through our sales ring!!

These sales will be well attended with buyer representation from all Western Provinces as well as Ontario & Quebec!
