The cows originate from a progressive ranch in South Eastern Saskatchewan. The cow herd for the past 20 years have been expected to calve unsupervised and unassisted out on pasture!
Every year at branding time, any dry or unproductive cows have been culled!
During the winter months, these cows continue to raise their calves on a winter grazing program until February when the calves are weaned.
The Ross Family has finished/fattened their own calf crop the last few years, with the cows producing calves that grow to optimum weights with length of body and natural thickness! The finished carcass results have proven the calves will grade and yield in a high percentile!
This is an excellent opportunity to buy productive, hard working, performance based ranch cows!
